Yep, that's right. Show tomorrow. Dunedin, Florida. Pioneer Park. 10 AM - 4 PM
So today is filled with last minute matting, pricing, spreadsheet entry, framing, etc. Shows for me aren't just pack up and go, and probably not for most artists no matter what category of shows they do. There are always new paintings to mat up, and the other assorted chores to take care of to get your items looking topnotch and try to be organized for the show. But it's what we do to hopefully see some of our "children" adopted out to loving homes.
Creative Artists Guild has 80+ members and was founded more than 20 years ago in Dunedin. It is a group of talented artists of all sorts who have a core group of exhibiting artists among the group, all of whom have been juried in by committee. It is this core group who will be exhibiting at Pioneer Park tomorrow. Pioneer Park is just one block east of the charming Main Street shops, and the weather, at least for the first half of the day, is expected to be good.
See y'all.
One of the things people have said about my artwork is that it tends to evoke images of past scenes or hopes of future dreams and destinations in the thoughts of the viewers. Translation: Dreams about Art! This blog will be a launchpad, I hope, for enjoyable experiences for many viewers as I share my thoughts and paintings with you. Copyright 2007/2016.
