The photograph at left was processed using something called emulsion lift. I will let Tiffany describe this in her own words. "To begin this unique photographic art I capture an image on slide film or digital file. The slide or a 4x6 print are then projected onto Polaroid pack film. The emulsion layer of the print is boiled off its substrate, leaving a jelly fish like layer that I hand manipulate onto either a porous surface, as in the beige, fiberous, handmade paper here, or a non-porous surface like metal, wood, or stone. The result is a one-of-a-kind emulsion lift of the original slide or digital image. The original image can be exposed and lifted an unlimited number of times but the resulting left will always be very different from the last. Each emulsion lift is approximately 4x6” in size and is hand signed (both on the image and the mat). This emulsion lift comes with a hand cut, acid free, museum quality archival mat, which has a 5x7” window and outer dimensions of 8x10.”

Tiffany also has a selection of bamboo pendants with one of her photographs which are lacquered to a shiny finish and come with a silver bail chain.
Ten percent of the total proceeds of her Etsy shop go to local Victory Thrift Shop's Operation Jacket Frost, a snowsuit and winter clothing fund for needy children in Banff, Canada, where Tiffany now lives with her husband and daughter.

I love the detail you've included here--almost as much as I love the art!
